The 2019 Gameplan

This year is going to be a big one for Woodstock Vitamins – I can see it now!

First off, we here in Woodstock are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the concert that changed the world (and made us in this small, upstate NY town globally famous). We’ll be adding rock & roll jokes and puns all over the place in 2019!

On the supplement front, our name change will be 100% official in the next few weeks, with all our bottles switched over to the new design. We’ve upgraded our back offices to handle the increased business we’ve seen. We’re ready to rock!

Most importantly, we’ll be offering some amazing content in new ways and even on some new platforms. We’re going to touch on each one of those in this post. We’re excited to share, and I hope you get as hyped up as we are!

Email List: Sign Up Today

If any of these things we introduce today pique your interest, we’re encouraging you to sign up. We’ll notify you of those things outside of our normal weekly blog email. As always, we won’t send you spam every 15 minutes, nor will we sell off the info to any third parties. We’ve always sent no more than 2 emails a week, at worst, and we will make it a point to stick to that.

Podcasts

I’ve got a face for radio! I’ve always loved podcasts myself, listening quite often to all sorts of different topics. I feel like the supplement expertise podcasts leaves a bit to be desired… They don’t have a pharmacist prone to potty-mouthed explanations and low-brow humor, for one…

The podcast will be about 30 minutes and (if we can get our act together) be released weekly.

Eventually, I’d love to have industry experts on as guests. For now, it will be me being interviewed about a topic followed by a Q&A session straight from our customers.

Here’s a few topics we’ll be covering first thing:

  • Strategies for Smart Supplement Use
  • Supplement Quality – Deep Dive
  • Gut Health, Irritable Bowel, and More
  • Controversies in the Supplement Industry
  • Nutrition – Fad Diets, Avoiding B.S. Advice, and More
  • Sleep Management
  • Stress Reduction Advice
  • And much more!

Recipes Galore!

Nutrition is such a crucial part to wellness. Maintaining a healthy weight is a big challenge for all of us. Short of paying someone to slap cookies out of my hand, I’ve been relying on our in-house expert to help me build meal plans and recipes. We’ve tested it, and now we’re ready to share.

She’ll be providing recipes and meal plans to all of you, as well as food buying advice and interesting information around foods that even yours truly didn’t know

We’re starting with some regularly produced recipes – probably once a week, which we will turn into an updated version of our cookbook.

All The Best For 2019

Following my advice from our Meditation article, I know not to attach to any specific outcome, even the outcome of us having “the best year ever.” A wise sage once said: “Everyone one has a plan until they get punched in the face.” That’s Mike Tyson, and he said “fayth” not “face.”

Anyway, we INTEND to release all of this great stuff on a regular basis and hope that we can execute along that goal.  We will be curious to see how it unfolds, and we will remain optimistic on our abilities and team. In reality, we are uncertain of what the outcome will be – and we’re ok if it doesn’t work out like we want. This curiosity is exciting, though! How far will we go? How often will we stray, because it is inevitable that we will… Will we do it?

So, while you set your own goals for your 2019, hold this same mindset. We have intentions… goals… plans. It takes effort. It takes you, week after week, grinding out the grunt work. Eating well. Getting to the gym. Taking the supplements. Day in, day out. After a while, you’ll get results. You may not. You may stray, and that’s ok.

You only “fail” on achieving your goals when you give up. Don’t give up. Don’t judge yourself.

This year could be YOUR best yet. We’re going to do our part to help you along your wellness journey.

No matter what… Just. Keep. Moving!

Just trying to keep it real…
