I’m Tired, But I’ve Got A Few Things I Can Tease.

I’m tired. Man, this stinks.

I think it’s important we acknowledge and accept how heavy American life feels right now.

For my Type A, hyper-productive self, I can’t even this week. I’m kicking with my normal 40 projects and work hours, but getting to 41 is proving to be taxing.

I can’t talk about COVID. I don’t have the energy to beat up supplement misinformation. I’m fatigued just thinking about the product issues in the industry.

In lieu of a new post and in light of my slight funk, I’ve got a couple of things I can tease.

First Up: Big Back End Changes!

Woodstock Vitamins. Village Vitality. Village Apothecary. Big Mouth Pharmacist. Supplement School. Dr. Neal.

There are too many things. Over the next 90 days, we’re going to be consolidating the experience quite a bit.

Not yet, but soon, we’ll put our online store and blog under my name and website: drnealsmoller.com.

I’m most excited about the blog changes, as it will improve the look, findability, and general flow of the blog.

I’m going to have some “must read” items be prominent that will help walk people through my methodology and the steps we recommend to getting your wellness in order.

The supplement brand will always be Woodstock Vitamins. Where you find the products online will be, in the future, slightly different.

The pharmacy in Woodstock will always be Village Apothecary.

If you’re paying close attention, you’ll notice we started the process already! This blog, for example, and the artwork at the top have the “Dr. Neal” branding more prominent.

We’ll slowly transition everything over, and I hope it makes your overall experience better.

And Second: The Book!

For years, my biggest cheerleaders have been encouraging me to write a book. I’ve started the process! I’m working with some editors, authors, and book industry-insiders.

I have no intention of selling a billion copies and becoming rich. Instead, I want to make a legacy piece that speaks to what I want from the world of wellness. I want something that will actually help people.

I’ve got all the content, now it’s about structuring it to be accessible and succinct. I know, I know… that’s a change for me…

Once I have some early chapters, I’d love to share them with you readers.

And, just a heads up: I’m not the guy to directly sell or push something. I, instead, give good advice and show how I’m doing my homework, and hopefully, people trust me enough to buy what I recommend.

But I’m probably going to beg all of you to buy at least one copy of the book. I might even ask you to buy one and send it to a friend.

My goal is, over the course of one year, to sell 6000 copies. The book people tell me that’s how you know it was a “breakout” book.

It’s a lofty goal, but I think it’s doable based on the size of my readership and the hustle I intend to display promoting the snot out of it.

Expect it, perhaps, before the end of 2020.

So that’s it for this week. Thank you for understanding. Thanks for reading. And thanks for the kind words. I’m so very happy to be here to help so many people, especially during this messy, messy time.

Just trying to keep it real…
